October is Blindness Awareness Month come celebrate with us.

The Little Rock Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children who are blind or visually impaired initiated a bill into law establishing October as "Blindness Awareness Month." "It is imperative that all people understand the realities of living without sight," said Tina Fiorentino, executive director of The Little Rock Foundation. "We are honored that Governor Corzine has recognized the importance of expanding the education to the public and named October as Blindness Awareness Month. We have so many organizations working together to build a better world for the blind and visually impaired." Welcome to our website, meet the agencies, organizations and foundations who are committed to the blind and visually impaired community. Together we are united in bringing awareness and an educational element for you to have a better understanding of the challenges blind and visually impaired people face each and every day.
